Knee surgery done; lots of pain

Lora, it's so good to hear from you and that you had the surgery.  I wish nothing but the best for you and that the pain subsides soon!!  You hang in there and just know your pain free days are coming!!

So glad to hear surgery went well and sorry for your pain, after rny I was given liquid Roxicet, it worked very well.

Hi Lora,

Glad everything went well.  They haven't got you on the pain med pump? I am surprised....I wasn't switched off until the 2nd day after surgery. I have never gotten much benefit from the oxycodone so i was given dilaudid. that seemed to be much better with the pain.  I have never been able to sleep in hospital...too noisy so sleeping pills are the rule. Hospitals are exhausting! The pain will get better every day...."it  is temporary" is the mantra.

I am glad you are up and about...so important. Strange that standing is more comfortable than lying in bed, right?

Little Gus is going to be so happy to see you! Just be careful!
