Same me, but looking so different! Pics!
I am 15 months out now. I started this journey hoping to get healthy and just be able to move without hurting. I remember thinking, "I just want to get to a size 16, when I was able to move and run and play without fear of hurting myself."
That was my goal.
Now I'm 98 lbs down since surgery, almost 100! I feel sooo good. I can go places and walk all day and not have to take breaks. I'm not constantly sweating. I hated that. I wear a size 4 (I think. After reading the vanity size thing, who knows!? And who cares!) I can shop wherever I want. I don't get outta breath like before. There have been so many benefits I can't name them all here. I'd keep writing forever and a day! Lol!
So here's my pic giving a demonstration at my hall.
The first pic is before surgery. That dress is a size 28, sweater was a 4x (LB).
Second pic, the dress is a size 14 from NY&C. My BFF gave me the dress, she had been keeping it for like 6 years hoping it would fit her some day, she finally gave it to me.
The last pic, my skirt is a size 10 (it's to big, but skirts are expensive!) sweater is a small from Forever 21, shirt is a small from "I-don't-know-where", got it at the Eco thrift.
I was, and still am, a slow loser. But I'm almost at my docs goal, and will continue to work towards that. Even if I don't make it, I have accomplished my goal of feeling healthy and being able to be more active in my life. And in the end, that's what matters most!

And of course my last vacation pic at the pool! The one place I didn't like having my pic taken. Now I could care less!
