Congrats! I am 14 months out from surger and down 207 lbs and like you so thankful for my new life.. I still measure my food and count calories but am glad for these tools that help me in my new lifestyle. There are some days when I look at the foods I don't eat anymore and miss them, I think this is natural. I make the concious decision not to eat those foods knowing they are what led me to a lifelong obesity problem. The strangest thing I have found on this journey is the lack of support from family members. My in-laws have told both my husband and I dont get too skinny or you'll never be that size. Hubby had surgery as well, luckily we are each others support system and we ignore the outside negativity. We look forward to living the rest of our lives actively instead of being trapped inside our fat bodies.. We have been taking pictures through the stages as well and the transformation is amazing, I never really saw how fat I was till I look at my before pictures now..
That is awesome!!! I wasn't 100 lbs. down until 6 months! I am at 258 now I cannot wait to be below 200!
