Congrats to you !!!!  I to am almost Seven Years !!!!  So hard to believe that April 6, 2006  I made one of the best decisions in my life. I also came here EVERYDAY before surgery and for mos afterwards. I started this journey at 262...went down to 150. Today I weigh 167. For the past 2 years I have gain 10 - 15 pounds here and there. But Than realize i have ~~~and get back on track and lose it. Which I am doing right now~~~~need to  lose 17 pounds before summer gets here. When i lost all my weight and bought all new cloths ( size 8) i swore I would never replace them with bigger cloths. I still can't eat a lot of food at one time~~~but it's the snacking grabbing the wrong foods.  Knock on wood  ( thats funny my Doctor was DR Wood)  I have had NO problems in 7 years. I have No regrets~~~well maybe 1~~~that I wish I would have done this sooner !!!  Good luck to Everyone!!!  If you every have any questions ~~~feel free to ask me!!!!

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your story with us. It is in inspiration to those of us that are newer in our journey. We always hear of those that have fallen off the wagon & regained. Although we need to hear that truth as well, it was an encouragement to know we are not doomed for failure if we stick to our dr's plan. Thanks again!!!kiss

Thank you. I did lose down to 140 and gained to 192....found out my thyroid shut down...got on meds and slowly loosing. However I would like to say the first three years I did everything right..no bread...sugar...sodas extra...I feel because I did this I still can not eat a lot. But my down fall now is freaking beer. I love it! So I really have to watch myself. But I work for a weight lose doctor and what I preach....I try and do! It's a constant thing...I can not lie! What you need to keep in mind is...its just a tool! Go to the shrink the first year! I did that too...it helped! Good luck....you all can do this and congrats to those that have made it and kept it.....yeeehaw!
