I used to come here everyday to be inspired or for advise. I would like to say that I still to this day do not regret my decision about having an RNY. I have kept my weight off. Started at 353lbs. I still weigh 165 lbs. Life is good! So good luck folks...it is worth it!

I am always in awe of people who manage to maintain their weight year after year.  Of course that is my goal.  Right now I have been a normal BMI for nearly 2 years and I am sure that is a record for me.  How do you do it?

7 years!  That is wonderful - is there anything you have done or could pin point after you lost all of your weight, that has helped you maintain it.   Food journal, etc ??   WOOT WOOT - glad you still come back and post your updates.

I was done 2005 and have managed to keep the weight off until recently, I have regain of about 30 pounds and not sure how it happened but still trying to get back on track and get rid of the weight! I have had a bad year for freaky medical issues and Im sure that has alot to do with it. Congrats on your loss and keep up the good work! The whole surgery process is a wild ride but soooo worth it!
