Yes, my doctor gave me an anti-bacterial product to use the day of my surgery. They also had me do it the day of surgery. You will do GREAT! No worries. See you on the other side.

I had surgery last week - no special washing, but I was told to clean my belly button with a qtip. Really? Okay - but I would have been mortified to find anything.

After surgery my tummy was perfectly orange from the prep... my first shower post-op was bliss.

Good luck you will do great!! Try and relax, stress makes it worse.

Got the special soap when I went for preop labs along with a full page of instructions on how to wash. Headed to the shower now and have to do it again in the morning before surgery. Good luck tomorrow!!
