The title pretty much says it all.  On one hand, it will get it over with two weeks sooner (and I will be feeling better sooner... presumably, by he time the weather gets warm), but I am now even more anxious about it.  Only 4 weeks away!

Here's wishing you a swift and absolutely uneventful recovery! I know it is a tad sooner than you planned, but hopefully you will be healed nicely and able to enjoy spring and being outside without so much knee pain.

Thanks. What a cute little Pug face on your avatar!  Your dog?  (We had a Pug when I was growing up and he was the sweetest little thing... but the shedding was terrible!)

After all is said and done, you will be so happy that you decided to do this.  I had minimal pain and just some stiffness.

You will feel so much better once it's done and healed. My Hubs boss had her's done last Jan and she was feeling much better by Feb!!!  I'll pray that all goes great and no huge discomfort!

Do you have someone to help with Gus? I saw that pug avatar too and thought of Puggy Dawn. Has anyone heard from her?

I'm sure you will be glad to have the surgery behind you. I can't remember....one knee or both?

Just the left knee.  My mom will watch Gus for the three days that I am in the hospital (and I will probably recover at her house for a couple of days after I get out since she has no steps and I cannot even get to the kitchen without 5 steps at my house).

I am friends with Dawn on Facebook.  She has had a couple of surgeries and has a new granddaughter!

Lora-

I have been following story on your knee replacement. Please let me know how you do after your surgery. I'm afraid I'm headed that way also. I will find out Tuesday if my surgeon will be able to repair my knee or if he will have to replace it. I had a dr. tell me last year that he wouldn't repair a torn meniscus because I would eventually need a replacement but I was too young. I had an MRI this week and it turns besides the meniscus the PCL is also torn. I'm hoping it's repairable. If it does have to be replaced I'll do it in June. I'm so scared.
