OT: Puppy pics (8 weeks old)
Gus is now 8 weeks old and has gained 2.5 pounds in less than 2 weeks (which is a lot when you start at 11 pounds!) His ears are slowly but surely coming up, and he continues to become braver about exploring the house and yard.
This shows the ridiculous position that Chows sit in... on one hip with a back leg between their front legs.
Gus has decided he likes the snow, (and he has the perfect wooly coat for it (he has not been brushed in a couple of days)****il his feet get cold, that is. He needs to grow some more hair between the pad on his feet.
He also has the most adorable "Honest, mom, I didn't mean to be bad" face! This was after getting scolded for playing with the toilet paper roll. (Ok, it was completely hysterical, but he still had to be scolded.)

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
He was pretty unsure about me and his new home for the first week (but he came from a litter of 9, so it was quite an adjustment for him), but now when we get up in the morning, or he gets up from a nap or I come home from being out, he wags his tail like crazy and covers my face with kisses!
