I would love to hear from members that had a SLOW start to their weight loss after they had The RNY... I think I would feel better if i knew people who had their weight loss kick in around a month after surgery... I just feel so depressed about not losing yet

I'm a slow loser. Average 2 lbs a week. But it starts to add up when you get out a few months. BW281. SW 266. CW 223 (surgery was nov 5). It does happen.

Hang in there ...Imagine yourself on a  old school rollercoaster ...

You start creaping up slowly on the tracks and then you get up to the top and everybody is looking around saying what going on?

...and then before they can finish those words they are screaming at the top of their lungs as the are dropping down the tracks at a rapid speed.  That is what your body is doing it is showing you "I'm about drop on you and when I start it will be no return.

Take this time to meditate on how you became the size you are now and what barriers or triggers do you need to address for the future.  YOU WILL LOOSE,,, TRUST ME ..you are going to drop alot all at one real soon!  I suggest you get in the frame of mind to exercise cause your skin is not going to be able to catch up!

Cheer up you are going to be just fine!  Been there done it ...got a mug, shirt and keychain !!!!

Awesome reply!!!!  Love the analogy!

Surgery weight:  232 lbs. / Goal: 145 lbs. Height:  5'5"     Fat? Ain't nobody got time for that.
