Puppy pics (it's a new week, LOL)

In the past week, Gus has learned how to go up and down stairs, to sit for his meals and treats, and has learned "outside".  He had a completely exhausting play date with his "cousin" Tucker, and met one of the neighbor dogs.  I *think* he knows his name and perhaps understands "no", but it is hard to tell because -- as anyone who has ever owned a Chow can attest -- any command is simply a suggestion to them.  :)

Gus is beautiful. I want to snuggle with all that fur.

Did you get to choose him or did you have to take the puppy that was left? Either way he is just simply ADORABLE !! All of his pictures just makes me smile. Lucky you--lucky puppy !!!!!

I got the puppy that was not chosen by the two paying customers.  Even now that I have him, when I look at the last picture of the three males together, I cannot tell which one of the three is him. They all look very much alike!  It will be interesting to see what the others look like down the road (if their owners send pictures to the breeder for the newsletter).

Lora,

I am so happy you got Gus.  I think he is perfect for you.  He looks to be very playful and curious.

Yes, he is VERY playful and inquisitive.  Our current training task is "no bite" (in addition to ongoing housebreaking, of course).
