I went from 450 lbs to 183. My ideal weight is 150 and i'm 5'8" and big boned. Find out what your ideal weight is and don't worry too much unless you go below that. Be sure to tell your surgeon about your fears tho. They get paid to listen to our fears and treat us.

Good luck!!

Met my first goal, met my second goal, met my surgeons goal. Now I have a new goal!

First, PLEASE just focus on being happy for your rapid loss! It may be very easy to lose sight of that amazing fact when you're trying to figure out this new life, but don't let worry steal the joy of the moment.

Second, stalls are not guaranteed. I rarely had stalls during my very active losing phase in 8 months post op. In fact, I reached goal really early and got below goal. I agree with someone on your prior post (I think it was Kim) that said your body will get smart before you get too low in weight, even if for a short bit you look too thin. Have you looked up what underweight would be for your height? For me it'd be 104. I'm still 13lbs away from that, so no risk of me being clinically unhealthy. My weight leveled off after my 1st year, was able to easily get in the calories & carbs my NUT recommended, and as another vet said, maintenance is the hardest part so be grateful for the ease of your rapid loss! You're ahead of the curve!

Talk with your drs about your concern, follow their recommendations if they want you eating more, or more frequently, or if they just want you to enjoy this ride....
