8 days till surgery

I'm  new today to this site .. Just wanted to say hi to you all ... I am having bypass done on Monday the 28th ... I had lap band done in 2008, it didn't work for me so I'm PRAYING this does the trick

Oh wow congrats on your weight loss ... That's AMAZING ! I keep getting this scarie feeling that this is also NOT going to make me lose weight ... I have the lap band but it didn't do anything for me except make me throw up almost every day ...

Welcome to this site. Most everyone is nice on here.....and helpful. Well, good luck on your RNY Sugery. It's awesome. I have lost 91 pounds in 4-1/2 months. You will do good, just stick to the plans that are given too you. If you need anything; mention it here and everyone will jump in and help ya out. The surgeries are totally different. My sister did the LapBand a few months before I did my surgery. We are going through this together. Always good to have a Great support system going. I wish you the very best.
