It took me a week to lose the water weight I gained in the hospital. Then I started losing for real.

I lost 7 Lbs my first week after surgery so I guess I didn't gain while in the hospital.

Don't look at your scale in the first two weeks, that way you won't feel disappointed/do your head in or fixate on the numbers.
