Jillian Michaels... Would you get motivated or tell her to stick it?

I don't care for her and I don't respond well to people telling me what to do no matter who it is.  When my mother died so did me listening to crap from anyone.

Stick it, I don'****ch the show because I feel it is unrealistic, I know we have had help and guidance but really most of us live in a world where we can't exercise 4 hours or more a day and have our food made for us. Also most overweight people already have a low self esteem I don't need to see people be belittled more.

I've never liked her or the show. I respond & prefer to give others positive reinforcement. She would **** me off, sorry.

I can't stand. I was bullied enough growing up for being overweight I wouldn't sign up for now. I would tell her to stick it.

I think she is just plain mean and disrespectful.  There are ways to motivate people without being mean and hurtful.  I am not really sure exactly why she is so popular....heavy people have enough issues with people being mean and disrespectful d/t fat phobia,,,someone that is being paid to support the weight loss journey should not behave like her.

I would encourage her to kick rocks barefoot.

She says she used to have weight problems, but any picture I have seen of her heavy days she was just overweight looking. I dont think she truly knows the harsh realities of being obese, especially since she makes her living off of basically exploiting obese people.

Well since she lost another team member tonight maybe she'll figure out her motivation isn't working?! It sounded on previews for next week like she's gonna lose another. I saw her on Dr Oz the other day and she said this year was bad.... I see why now.

Bob can be the same way and I'm sure some would be motivated by every style on there. Me personally? Wouldn't put myself through it but if you asked to go on I think you need to suck it up.

I haven't been watching it and have only seen a couple of episodes (spread over a couple of seasons, even), so I didn't know she was losing team members.  I do agree that people who sign up for the show should know what to expect (and shouldn't sign up if they cannot handle Jillian's approach). I wonder if the desperation to get the weight off makes them think that they can endure anything if it means losing the weight...?

I watched a little last night and thought that she was abusive and changed the channel.
