How long were you off of work?
I stayed off for 4 weeks. I felt good after the first two but the extra two weeks helped me establish a routine for protein, meals, supplements and exercise. Plus by the time I went back to work I could eat food that looked "normal" in the break room.
I hope you have a smooth surgery & a speedy recovery.

I took 5 weeks. Could have gone back after 2 but was still tired and I had fmla and short term disability so I took what my doc offered and took 5 weeks off. So glad I did. Gave me time to get in purée stage and had more energy and was more use to my new life style. If you have to go back 2 weeks should be fine if dr ok'd, but if you can its nice to take extra time for yourself to learn as much as you can about your new pouch

Office job - I took 2 full weeks off then worked 1/2 days the first week back. The doctor told me he would give me as many weeks out as I wanted but I go stir crazy - I only took 2 weeks off and 1/2 days the first week back with my hysterectomy and TT with muscle tightening, too. Having an office job helps because I could get up and move and walk when I needed to. By week three, after all 3 surgeries, I was feeling fine and only watched my lifting.
