How precious!!! I did not know they came in that color. Very pretty.
I am in a sad state here. My, almost 16-year-old dog who is blind and deaf, now is developing heart problems. Right now, he is in no pain, gets around very well (if the cat does not mess with him too much) but I do not think he will see summertime. And, it is our last dog. With my age, health problems and upcoming surgeries, I cannot handle another dog. Even now, I cannot let him out alone. He has to be on a leash in the yard. He has no idea where he is going but he can go fast!
Those fuzzy puppies are so sweet!!!!
Yes, Chows actually come in 5 colors: the common colors of red and black, cream, and the relatively uncommon blue (looks like a faded black) and cinnamon (a tan or brown).
I am so sorry about your dog. It is so incredibly hard to lose them or make the decision to put them down. My mom's Scottie is 11, and we have never had one live past 12, but she is 71 and having some health issues so she knows that this is probably her last dog (and she is thinking about getting a cat).

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

Lora, I could slurp them! How beautiful and you are going to be sooooo happy! I remember years ago when I use to have golden retrievers and picking one out early on to take home and then having to wait was killing me. I remember when we did go to pick her up, the owner had my son and I sit in the middle of the yard and he turned all the puppies loose ( 11 of them, big litter) and we were attacked by such love and kisses! Imagine, 11 puppies kissing you as fast as they could and we were laughing so hard, we couldn't move. The parents of the puppies were beautiful, dark goldens, as they are called with really thick and somewhat curly hair. My son was just 3 or 4 at the time and it was an experience I will never forget! It would be difficult for me to choose between the three. I'm happy for you and what a GREAT way to go forth in the New Year!
