Have you tried the foot/toe warmers that are air activated? They're pretty good at taking the edge off, at least. I have  a mild case of Renaud's and they help my toes stay warm enough that I don't get a full-on attack most of the time.

These things: http://www.amazon.com/Heat-Factory-Adhesive-Foot-Warmer/dp/B000SOTJPU/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1356962824&sr=8-5&keywords=foot+warmers

They have some for your hands, too, to slide into mittens or pockets.

I forgot to mention that I frequently see single use packets of these things at the drug stores during this time of year. In case you want to give them a try without committing to buy multiple packs. My local Rite Aid usually has them near the registers.

Well it is not that cold here outside, but I am cold all the time. Used to make fun of my wife having so many blankets on the bed and a hot pad when she slept, but now I got a lot of covers on me and a heating blanket on me at night. I walk around the house with a jacket on sometimes. My hands do not want to work, they are so frozen. By the way martitalinda, you must be a model or something. You look fantastic. Great job.

Thank you Larry ... I love love love reading your threads and responses .... I hear you about the hands ... my fingers get frozen too now more than ever ... I had to run then under warm water and they certainly hurt on the thaw LOL ... I too bundle up ... under heavy comforters and blankets and with pjs and hoodies ... all this post WLS ... before then I would have a light jacket on all winter long as I hated coats and found them constraining ....

Stay warm!!! Wishing you the best in the upcoming year ... best wishes for you and your lovely family!!!

It's cold here in Illinois too but we don't have as much snow as you do. My dog doesn't like to go out in this weather either-he's old and doesn't get around as well as he used to. Thanks for sharing your pictures and I hope you and your family have a great new year!
