Dealing with maintenance (long term vets jump in please)
I ditto every word you said in your post - it is a lifestyle that requires work and "regulars" do not understand that.
Is it bad that one reason I became less involved on OH is because I can't tolerate some posts? I hate to come across that way but geez..
Be happy.
I periodically have to take a break because after a while seeing six posts every single week about the three week stall (or four posts asking if the honeymoon is over at 5 or 6 months out, etc.) makes my head feel like it is going to explode.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
Honestly, I'm glad I do not get all the complements I used to get for my weight loss. I just want to blend into society. I even changed jobs so that I was not known as "that fat math teacher who lost a ton of weight". don't get me wrong, I enjoy complements, but I want them based on the here and now, not based on how I look compared to how I used to look.
My biggest advice to other is to stop whining and making excuses and take responsibility for your actions in ALL areas of your life. Do not fall into the victim mentality. Too many times I see people posting here about regain (it's great to ask for help) but then many never listen to the advice given and post about it again a few months later. These are the posts that bug me the most.
