Bra frustration - anyone worn both LB Balconette and a F of H bra?
I have the totally opposite problem - I lost mine but wasnt as big as you to begin with. I started as a 44D and am now a 36B. I was bigger than this when I was in high school.
I cant help you much on the bra front other than to say go to Avenue, they are usually cheaper than Lane Bryant and also Just My Size has a great Lingerie Catalogue with pretty bras - you might want to order a bunch of different styles and send what doesnt work back but it might be a good way to find some new styles and stick to Lane Bryant and Avenue for the basics. I also agree with the other poster about Soma - the are the lingerie part of Chico's and have prettty stuff but are expensive. See if you have an outlet by you = we have a Chico's Outlet near me and the prices are much better on both clothes and the Soma items. I do hope you can find some cheaper bra's - that is alot of money to spend on bras.
On the note - Surgery - For someone your size - you should be able to get a reduction covered by insurance. You should just have to get a doctor to say it causes back pain which at your size, I would think they must. Then you could go to a reputable plastic surgeon not one that wants to mutilate you. I have known several people that had reductions and they were so much happier afterwards - one was a young girl that I babysat for when she was in high school and when she turned 21, she got a reduction. I think she was a DDD at 16.
I wish you the best in whatever you decide to do.
I buy mine at LB because they are cute and the only ones that fit. I'm not as big as you, 40ddd, but when I went to a 38ddd, the cups are to small. And I was wondering the samething how they would fit. Since fashion bug went out of busniess I don't know any other places where I live around which is Findlay. I know I have only lost 34 pounds but mine are seeming to get bigger.
