Bra frustration - anyone worn both LB Balconette and a F of H bra?
Barely There even rides up on me. They are the last ones that I had and I liked them. My problem now is that I don't have a butt to keep them down! I'm sure that when I get back up to where I should be that I can wear them again. Until then I will be "Commando Granny"!!

Thanks, Sandy! I looked at the web site and they do have some very pretty bras (even some minimizers!) in my size (or potential sizes, LOL) and there is a store in a mall not too far from here. I will definitely check them out... after Christmas.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
They aren't cheap but they are really nicely made. I have been really impressed with the quality.

I (still) wear a G cup. I buy my bras at Dillard's for between $25-30---although the last time I was in there I made out like a bandit and got a couple for $6 each!!! And they are industrial strength, made by Cabernet. I too often buy a bigger band size (that's how I scored the $6 ones), and take a seam in them, right beside the hooks.
Years ago I hurt my foot, and my PCP was on vacation and had someone filling in for him. While waiting for my X-rays to be ready, he asked me "Have you ever considered a breast reduction?" (Remember, this guy was a total stranger to me.) He then proceeds to tell me about this friend of his who had her boobs completely removed, since she was 60 and figured she didn't need them any more.
I used to think I wanted a breast reduction more than anything. Now I'd rather have a panni done---can't buy a bra for THAT. (*grin*)
I adore my Le Mystere (sp?) bra from Nordstrom. It's the bra that Oprah raved about on her bra show a few years back. It is pricey at like $65, but totally worth it. I am a total cheapo and swore I would never pay that kind of money for a bra, but the lift and support these bras give me are amazing and second to none. I know they come in cup size E which is what they call their DD, but I'm not positive about F cups. If you have a Nordstrom nearby, their lingerie department is usually really good about helping you find the right fit, support, etc. Best of luck!
where do you all go to get sized?? i was in a 44/46DDD before surgery...now 100pounds down I am sill in a 40/42DDD..the 42's are a bit loose but are comfy to wear but i have to keep hiking them up and adjusting them....the 40's give me major arm pit boobs....and so far i have not found a 40.5 size bra....
i do not like the under wire bras so not sure where else is out there that will give good support...i like the playtex 18 hour that hooks in the front...style number 4695 i think....they are not major pretty..but they are ok....i have no idea where you would find anything other than a DDD cups..
thanks
