The puppies will be two weeks old tomorrow, and here are two pictures taken yesterday. Their eyes are not open yet, but should be any day now. The breeder has so many new litters (and one female awaiting delivery) that they had to put two litters in an area of the "maternity ward"/"nursery" that is being worked on (so that is why the wall looks so bad... it really is a nice kennel, so I didn't want people to think otherwise because of the renovations underway).

Wish I knew which one of the cream ones is going to be mine, but they are "closed" until the first of the year as far as visitors and puppy pickups, so I will not be able to go out until the first week in January. They all look at LOT alike right now and have no distinct personalities yet, anyway... but still. Check out how little the black one whose head is completely covered by the cream puppy in the first picture. (S)he is not even half the size of the other black puppies. I had a Scottie once that was the runt of the litter and he was SO sweet that I have a soft spot for runts!

They all look so CUTE! I love the puppy on it's back with it's little, pink belly exposed. I used to breed shelties...runts are ALWAYS my favorite. I think because you have to "baby" them a little more. This looks like a well fed, healthy, litter!

Pudgie puppies! So dang cute. Makes me want to bring home another puppy...I just love the smell of puppy breathe.
