Hunchback?

I have discovered since gaining all this weight that not only is bm back extremely fat, I have also developed a kind of hunchback with a definite glob of fat just below the back of my neck that makes me look as though my head is considerably forward. Has anyone else had this issue?  Was it fixed by losing the weight?????

Blessings!

Yes! My "back fat" was a serious point of self-consciousness and insecurity when I was obese. It actually hung in there for quite a while while I was losing. But, eventually, it also disappeared... along with my butt. But beggars can't be choosers;)

I didn't have much of a butt even when obese. I am the ultimate apple shape. Now my butt is totally gone and my tailbone hurts all the time.

Yes, I had a flat butt to begin with, but for about 3 months after surgery my tailbone just killed me.  I bought so many types of pillows and couldn't sit for longer than 15 minutes at a time.  It passed thank goodness!  Jane

Oh thank God it passes.  I've had a painful tailbone for a month or two.  I chalked it up to exercise but it didn't get better.  Nice to know it passes!!

Yep!  It's gone now.  My husband told me months ago that my hump was gone.  I was so happy!   Jane

Great to hear this!  I also do not have a butt and many people have been kind enough to pass this info on to me!!!!  My one daughter also inherited the "no butt", as well.  I just answer that I used to have a butt, a big one, but over the years, I told so many to "bite it" and they did, that is what happened to my butt!!!  That is my story and I am sticking to it.

Just spent some time checking out the "before and after" pics.  Now there is some inspiration!!!

I lost my back fat, but I still have a bit of a hump.  My chiropractor says it is partly from an old injury. MIGHT be partly hereditary, and is partly because now that I have lost my belly, my shoulders and neck are suffering from trying to support the weight of my still enormous (36DDD) boobs.. whereas my belly actually helped support part of the weight of my boobs before I lost the weight.

It's very unflattering lay called a buffalo hump. Most of it will go away  when you lose weight and practice good posture.

One of my best friends had a huge hump before surgery. It was gone by the end of the first year. She is I think 3 years out, put on prob 15 to 20 lbs and has stayed or maintained with that. No hump, and you cannot tell she ever had one.
