Picture of Chow litter (my puppy is one of the cream ones) -- added parent pics
Here is the whole litter of nine (!) puppies. They look like mini golden retriever puppies right now, but their coats lighten up (and their noses turn dark) very quickly.
This is the sire (he was Khan's sire as well), a cream:
This is the dam (black, obviously):

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
So cute! The sire looks like our Bear. We had to gift him when we moved to Houston years ago we couldn't find an apartment that would allow us to keep him and he wasn't house broken which would have been difficult to try to do anyway. Last I heard he had fathered a few litters.

Glad to see there is more than one "for you" in this litter. One sidelight--the breeder web site is visible for other OH posters who may have been in the market for a chow puppy in the future. Your long saga to get a replacement puppy isn't something an eithical breeder wouldn't put a client through. If you fail to get a puppy this time, I'd strongly urge you to write to any of the "complaint forums" online, with a post about your experience with this particular breeder. DAVE
