Ask yourself: do you miss food or do you miss eating?
I hate food and will never take it back, my breakup was forever. I saw a friend tonight who I worked with and inspired to have wls, she did so well, got her mobility back and is now gaining. I came home and cried and skipped dinner I am so sad. I didn't tell her what to when she was deciding to have wls and I certainly won't lecture her now but that makes it so much harder even that you can't scream to save yourself before it is too late. It scares me that her diabetes could return and her mobility problems. Food sucks.
