2013-what is your commitment?
What a really good post!!
For me:
1) Join the Wellness Center or if I enroll in school....they have a fabulous Gym with pool so I will make myself a fixture. Especially since it's mere minutes from work.
2) If i delay school...joining the gym is the upmost important goal on my list.
3) Hang in with work and show my abilities and stop being a pansy ass.
4) Just be happy and enjoy life...stop stressing about every minute detail and smell the roses!!
5) Looking really good in some jeans I purchased a couple months ago...I can zip them and button them but dang I can't breath in them....LOL so, watch out when those babies are fitting me! Hot MAMA!
6) Going to the beach and enjoying it...atleast twice! Labor Day was horrendous last year and I made the decision to leave my husband. Job or no Job. And I made it with God's help! He always provides!
7) Speaking of...finding a church for me and my son to be a part of....moving home, we've got to find a church closer to us with a great youth program.
8) I really want to get to goal by October 2013....I'll be 18 months out and turning 46! One foot on the banana peel to 50! :)
Happy New Year everyone!!
Sherry
Great goals!
Oh, and there's nothing wrong with being 50 - I'm more confident and happier with myself now than I was at 30 (and I wasn't overweight then either) . There are a few of us cute 50 year olds on here!!!!!
If you want to know anything about being single and dating - drop me a PM or hop on over to the Singles Board - it;s a bit quiet, but post and they will come ... - I'm a vet of dating as well as WLS so if you need any advice - online dating, pictures, clothes for dates etc - just ask ... LOL!
I'm in a relationship with a gorgeous hot man, so I must have done something right

For the first time I can remember in my entire adult life, losing weight is not on the New Years List!! One my list:
Get Organized. My house looks like a disaster, stuff just need to find a home OR go to a new one!
Complete my fitness goals: I have one Half Marathon, 1 duathalon, 3 sprint tris, 1 Half IronMan and 1 Marathon planned for 2013. It going to be a big year for me if the knee holds up!!!!
Save for plastics: I really want to have plastics abdomen and breasts done next December. I was going to do it this year, but I am enjoying the sports to much.
Those are the big 3.....
For 2013, here's what I have in mind:
-I just joined an online exercise support group, so I'm hoping to get more tips and ideas (and focus) on my weight loss/strength training goals. It's run by a woman who is a Beachbody Coach, so it should be interesting.
-With that said, I'm hoping to start running. I want to get under 200 before I seriously start a C25k program. I've been doing the elliptical, but in the Spring and Summer, it would be nice to get outside for some of my workouts.
-I'd like to train for an event, but I'm not sure which one I want to do. I need to look over the list again, and pay up! ;)
Great Post Kim. For 2013, I have three personal goals. 1. To give myself the gift of 1 hour a day of exercise again. 2. To lose the final ten pounds to put me in the 140s. 3. To have the second half of my lower body lift in late spring.
I am very thankful for the year 2012 and I look forward to 2013.
