Retaining water.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I am retaining water like crazy! I can gain 8 pounds in 2 days If I don't take diuretics. I'm getting worried because I know this isn't normal and I don't want my body to depend on diuretics but if I don't take them I swell up. Any body have this happen and what was the cause and the solution?

I'm going through same thing, how long ago did you have your surgery? Mine was a month ago

First big question, are you drinking enough water? Try drinking 90-100 ozs. Also make sure your getting your protein and cut back on salts.

Hi I also am having this issue. I am 15 day's out from surgery. I was on Sprionactone which is a diuretic . I was on it for years a high does too. For pcos symptoms. Any ways I do know coming off this drug or any other diuretic well cause weight gain. My surgeon said to stop for at least a month. So its only been two weeks out and I am gaining weight , where I should be losing weight. Hope this helps.
