Surgery in 1 month!

My RNY WLS is scheduled for December 28th! I am SO nervous! Actually "nervous" is an understatement! I know I need to do this, and I know my surgeon is really good, but I can't help but think about the fact that my guts are basically going to be rearranged! Any advice to calm my nerves?

Deep breaths... search NSV and read all the wonderful things people can do now...watch youtube before and after videos.... or do things to take your mind off of it...

You will do great and you will be much healthier after.

Thanks Juls for the suggestions! I'm so excited to get healthy again! The videos I've watched have really helped, as well as the before and after pics I looked through!

Congrats on your date. I have no advice for nerves. I am still on my high of getting my date. I am the day before you. :)

Wow! Merry Christmas to US!!! I'm so nervous, but soooo excited! I'm ready for a "do-over"! I want to be healthy again and have the energy to keep up with my boys! Let me know how things go for you!
