OT - iPad 2 or iPad Mini and why?

I am looking at getting an iPad 2 or an iPad Mini. Looking for feedback from people who have either tablet and why they choose it and how they like it.

Thanks.

First off, the iPad2 is old technology.  I have the 3rd generation and they've already released the 4th.  Anyway, I like the size of the regular iPad vs the mini.  Especially for streaming media.

Surgery weight:  232 lbs. / Goal: 145 lbs. Height:  5'5"     Fat? Ain't nobody got time for that.

Thank you. I know that the iPad 2 is older technology but it is closer in my price range as well as the Mini. My biggest question I guess is if I need the bigger one really, because if not I can have somewhat newer technology in the Mini.

I have an iPad 2 and love it, but unless you would prefer the larger screen for some reason, I would get the mini.  The only thing I don't like is the issue with lack of document storage and inability to print, but those will be issues no matter which one you get

I played around at Best Buy with both yesterday and I'm not sure if I need the bigger size or not. I do need something bigger than my iPhone but I'm starting to think that the Mini might serve my needs. Thank you.

I print with mine. I have an Epson printer that I can print wirelessly through my home network and Apple has an Epson Print app.

Yeah, I'm too cheap to replace a perfectly good printer with one with wireless capability.  Maybe once I'm no longer paying for school...

My previous printer completely died and we had to have one for my daughters school work. Most printers now have WiFi for wireless printing
