My puppy was killed
I'm soooo sorry for all that you have been going through on trying to get a new puppy! Hopefully the litter will have what you want and I wouldn't settle for anything less than what you wanted! You've been through hell with this breeder and you deserve a break! Hugs and hoping you get what you want!
Oh my goodness! I am so sorry that your beautiful puppy died. Even though you didn't have him yet, I know you loved him already. I have twin Maltipoos and fell in love with them the second I saw that first photo of them. I feel so bad for you. I hope that you won't have to wait much longer for a new one to come along or for them to give you the one they kept. You are such a warm and loving person and you deserve the best. We all appreciate you so much.
Sorry to hear of this latest occurrence in your battle to get what you deserve. Things will workout for the best in the end. If the past few months have taught me anything it is that everything happens for a reason and what one day seems like a tragedy in the long run may be a blessing.

Unbelievable. Losing a second dog before you even have him--this is a doggie soap opera now. But the good news is it sounds like the breeder is going the extra mile for you now. I can understand why they held back a breeding quality red male since there is a scarcity of them. They just didn't want to tell you so you wouldn't misunderstand their intentions. They do have to run a business or there won't be red males for anybody. Gus changed all that with his escape. Hopefully Little Gus (if you keep that name) will be a show quality Chow. If he's that good you might want to have him bred. Hail the new Caesar. Thinking of you.
I don't think any of their dogs are show quality, but they are good looking dogs with great temperaments. The female who is due shortly is the sister of the dam that the existing red male is from, and they used the same sire for both litters. Most importantly, they are doing what they can to get me my puppy before the end if the year (or right after the first of the year).

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
