Hello all! I haven't been around the board for along time but I need some help! I am a successful bypass patient and lost 150lbs and have maintained and kept my weight at 120 for 3 yrs now! My problem is I need some help with my supplements! I haven't been a good girl and slacked on them and now pay the price! So any help on dosages and what I should be taking would help me a lot! Not to mention just support as I try to get a grip on all this again!

Welcome back!!

I am also 4 years out. Honestly, I love to eat, so I do not "allow" myself to eat until I have taken my supplements. This works for me.

This is what I take:

Breakfast- multivitamin, B12 (3 times a week), vitamin d, calcium

Lunch- vitamin d, calcium

Dinner- multivitamin, vitamin d, calcium

Bedtime: iron and vitamin c

"All in one" vitamins are not always the best choice for us RNYers as so eloquently summarized here:

Our needs are so individual based on labs.  If you have lab test that you can share here, it'll be much easier for others to make suggestions.

These are what I take:

AM - multi, Bcomplex, B6 (labs dictated), calcium, Vitamin D, Vitamin A

Mid-morning:  calcium

Lunch: calcium

Mid-afternoon:  calcium, multi, potassium

Evenings:  iron and vitamin C (this is the one I'm most likely to miss)
