Sore pouch day, but still hit my goal

Yesterday as I was getting ready for church, I was sitting on my bed eating some almond slivers.  I had just chewed a bunch up when a huge sneeze from way down in my gut snuck up on me.  My choice?  Suck it up and try and keep it inside, or just let it have its violent way and blow almond bits all over the place.  Well, I wasn't in the mood for cleaning up masticated almonds, so I sucked it up.  It hurt like hell, even 6 wks out, but I did it.  Of course, I've paid for it today too...it was sore all day for my workout.  But I pushed through it, came home and took my shower, and just out of pure curiosity I stepped on the scale.  I hit my 40 lbs lost on my 6 wk to the day!  Doing a happy dance here!

My RNY surgery was on 9/11/12 and I am just now able to eat meat....and very little of it. Is your weight loss counting before surgery weight loss too? If not then I am a slow loser....I am down 29 lbs.I'm happy with it but when I see someone who has lost a lot more and in less time I begin to wonder if I am doing something wrong.

My surgery was 10/9 and I have lost 23 pounds. I feel like it is slow. But my regular doctor says yeah!

I love Baby Cut carrots (raw)  and one night had probably a few too many.  Not only was my pouch sore that night, but into the next morning!  I finally had to drink some water to wash them out and that was really painful.  I chewed well and am not really sure why they got stuck, but it was one painful experience.
