I have had the longest lasting cold ever. It started 4 weeks ago. Went from a cold, severe chest cold, to throat issues and then the cough and chest congestion is back again. What the?! Got antibiotics last week still battling this crap. Ah, the cold season is here. Wah.

I had something similar a few months back.. and even after getting my antibiotics it still hung on a while longer.  Just make sure you are getting plenty of rest and liquids.

Hope you feel better soon

Thanks! I know for sure I would long be better by now if I could afford to take a few days off work and actually get some good rest. I have been loading up on water and vitamins trying to combat it. Hopefully if nothing else, maybe this can be my only cold this season. (HA, who am I kidding)

I had pretty  much the same thing except I think it was two different colds that came close together.  I was sick for a few weeks, started getting better and then a few days later I was sick again, this time with a sore throat and other symptoms I didn't have the first time.   I hope I am done with being sick.  I did get a flu shot so hopefully that will help me avoid the flu.

I'm thinking the same thing happened to me. Since I was already sick and had a weakened system I just picked up the next virus to come into contact with me. Boo!
