My Panniculectomy (with photos)
I was VERY fortunate that my insurance paid for my panniculectomy without any issues. I actually went to the plastic surgeon for new boobs and he suggested that I give approval a try, so I did. I had no infections or other problems associated with having the extra skin.
I "upgraded" to what I call an 'advanced panniculectomy', which is having my belly button moved up. I have had 5 kids and was 52 years old and didn't care to have a tummy tuck (whi*****ludes muscle tightening), I just wanted to have the saggy skin gone. So now I have a pretty scar and lots of stretch marks, but they don't bother me at all. The bruises that you see in the before photo were from my gallbladder removal that I had about a month before.

Looks like you found a great Plastic Surgeon!
It's funny you posted this because at my support meeting last week, our guest speaker was a plastic surgeon in the area. It makes me think about what I may have to have done in a few years. I want to try for another baby in a year and a half, so nothing for at least 3-4 years.
That turned out great!
