My New NSV's

So today at work one of the parents walked in and said to me, "Hey, you look like you've lost some weight! You look really good!''
This is a parent that didnt know me at 300+ lbs. She met me at maybe 180 or so. I dont think I look that much different since weighing 180, but apperantly I do! I'm in a size 8/9 now, I think I was a 12/14? or so back then, but not much of a difference (well, at least not to me). So for her to say that just made me feel good, cause that means even though i haven't lost anything ( I actually gained!) I know i've lost inches.

Also, Miss LisaD said something the other day and it has made my week! Besides saying I'm teeny tiny (which I love ya for that!) she said I was "pocket sized"! Bless your heart! You really did make my week!

Aww... thanks! I feel pretty good now. I guess it's still hard to see the new me. though I am getting more and more used to it. It takes a while for your brain to catch up. I used to think, how can people not see it? I'll be able to tell the difference. But until you've lived it, you dont know!

Isn't it funny how so much of weight loss takes place between our ears?

It's so weird to me! I know Im smaller, but my brain doesnt seem to know. I still walk thru crowds like I'm big. I wait for a space big enough for the old me to pass through. It just takes to to get used to it I guess.

AWWWWWWWW!!! Well you ARE pocket sized!!!!  I'm so glad I made your week, that make MY week, that I could make your week!!! You look gorgeous!!!  My next goal is to be in single digit sizes....tell me...HOW DOES IT FEEL?!

 

 

It Feels Wonderful! That was one of my goals, to just get to a size 8. Weird goal, but i wanted to see what that was like. I have never been that size-ever! But yes, you've had me floating on a cloud! I told my husbad and he laughed and said, "She's right! you're pocket sized! Thats the word I was looking for!" So now I'm his pocket sized wife.

I got a little teary eyed just now.....that's so cute that he's calling you pocket sized! :)  I love it! I don't think your goal was a weird one, I have the same goal, and at a size 8 I'd think you'd be floating around anyway, skinny minny! The day I fit into an 8 in a dressing room is a day I'm going to scream "YIPPEEEEE"....while I'm still in the dressing room!  I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!  You inspire me!  I want to wear a size 8 and some sky high heels like you!

I didnt even realize that it was a size 8 the first time because it was in european sizes, so the tag said SIZE 29. I had to look it up once I got home and then I screamed in happiness!
