new body shape emerging
As of today, I have lost 31 pounds and am down to 216. I am noticing that most of the inches that I'm losing seem to be in my butt and thighs. My belly seems to be just as large and my boobs are still the same as well. I seem to be transforming from a pear to an apple.
Has anyone else noticed that the shape of their body totally changed? I know that when we lose weight our bodies change, but I mean has anyone else noticed that the fat left just one particular area?

Your shape will likely change again. When I was my current weight the first time around (189), I was trimmer in the hips and top heavy. I wore one full size larger on top to accommodate my chest. Flash forward through a 125 lb gain and loss, and now I am bigger in the hips than the bust by a couple of inches, but the same size fits top and bottom.

I'm one of the odd ones too. I lost on my lower half for the last two months. Maybe it was some water weight and the fact I built up some muscle doing stairs. I'm 2 months and barely 1 week out and now, all of a sudden, I'm dropping upper chest and shoulder fat and the tops I thought 2 weeks ago that would fit me for at least one more month look awful so I'm donating them. My legs have stayed the same for about 2 weeks. So, I guess some of us could lose inches in a haphazard way. I was a slight pear before my massive weight gain after a car accident in my mid-thirties. I'm curious what I will be when I reach a goal weight! We'll have to check in with each other down the road.
