4 years ago today I did the best thing I could do for myself, I had RNY! I came here for my daily support group and it was (and is) amazing

I see that you logged in daily but did you ever go to a support group? I have been to 1 meeting and really feel terrible that I haven't been able to go back.

The post-op support group where I had my surgery had a group of veterans who I did not like. They acted like they were the authority on all things WLS related and nobody else got a word in edgewise. They would answer questions without even hearing what was asked. I found coming here was SO much more helpful!

I am not saying that everything written here is good (some people would post crazy things that they ate and were still losing so it must be OK), but it always kept me thinking and moving forward. I still stay motivated to continue to be successful by being here. I also hope to help others as I was helped by others.
