I am busy stay at home mom of 2 daughters, and i am the only licensed driver for 3 familys mine, my mother and my in laws, so i am always on the road, i have not been able to eat anything except mushies food and then that is limited to cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, and re fried beans and cheese, and sf pudding, none of this stuff i eat while driving, so what do i do i find myself eating later in the evening then i probably should. I need so ideas on what i can pack in a lunch cooler that i can eat on the road. I drink protein shakes and lots of water during the day and if i get a few mins at home i heat up something from the night before or a few bites of pudding or something, but that doesnt happen very often. I am on the road from 930 to 320 and the again from 530 to 730. i put dinner in the oven between 330 and 500 or use my crock pot here lately. i cant eat nuts of any kind allergies. I really dont want to fail at this i walk every night from 8-10 around my neighboor track, I am only starting my 4th week out.

I can think of a few things that you could eat "on the road" but cant think of any mushies: Beef jerky and cheese sticks.

Cheese sticks - even early on - these were fine with me (I picked the reduced fat - if your pouch s sensitive to fat)

Baby-bell cheese (these are softer than most cheese sticks)

any cold cuts -cheese roll-ups. (later on)

I agree with the cheese sticks and beef jerky.  Those are my two go-to items when I am rushed out the door.  I know there are soy nuts out there, they aren't actually nuts, but made of soy, which has protein.  I wouldn't worry about failing.  It sounds like you're doing great with your protein drinks and other fluids.  Those are two key ingredients to losing and maintaining.

Can you make tuna salad or chicken salad and keep it in your cooler? Maybe some of those ice packs would help. I hard boil an egg discard the yolk and fill it with tuna salad myself..like a deviled egg but with tuna salad. I'm not sure if hard boiled eggs and tuna are on your mushies list or not of course.
