You and I are very alike in eating capacity and tastes so I thought I'd share my last several nights dinner with you. I am not posting on the blog because a) I am not in the mood to hear the "you eat that???" comments and b) it doesn't photo well.

Anyhoo...back inna day I used to have what I knew as a "steakhouse burger." Here's how I re-created it healthfully:

1 Jennie-O turkey burger
1 slice of cheese (I don't do reduced fat, but your mileage may vary)
1/2 of an onion, cut into slivers and sauteed in a pan with nonstick cooking spray and a bit of salt/pepper
1 large, button mushroom, sliced and sauteed with the onion
1 whole-wheat Arnold Thin
A smidge of mayo
About 1/2-ish tbsp steak sauce

NOM!!!!! This sandwich is the bomb and I'm sure way less caloric than the version I used to eat. Just it fills me up quite nicely. Sometimes I have a fudgesicle an hour or so later.

this sounds good. I have been living on mostly fish, some shrimp and some chicken. But the chicken some times goes down easy and some times feels like concrete.

I actauly tried steak once and had zero issues with it, but I also took pea sized bites and chewed it to liquid.

That sounds yummy, Nik. I wouldn't be able to eat much but I bet it would be delicious.

I do a similar turkey burger. I use a seasoning called "hamburger" mix in 1 egg for about pound of ground turkey, chop up frozen pepper and onions and add into mix. I top it with pepper jack and steak sauce! I can't really do sandwich yet bread way to heavy! I think I just had a burger-o-gasm
