I am supposed to be able to things like tuna fish, salmon etc so I tried salmon now I am in so pain I bearly ate 3 bites

Then stick to pureed foods or mushier foods for a little while, then try denser proteins again.

It is perfectly fine to stay at a lower level longer than normal.  Move up as you feel ready.  Everyone's body is different.

I had to stop eating tuna and salmon about 2 weeks ago. It felt like a stone even with mayo. Progress as you can, but make certain you get the right amount of water and protein.

It took me over 3 months to eat anything solid. Lived on shakes and ricotta cheese. It will get better. Don't worry or rush.
