There is a much more simple rememdy to this problem than the scoop size.  Fix the labeling.  If the label is not accurate then people aren't getting what the believe they are.  Not only are the servings per container off but so are the calories and everything else.  The label would be easy to fix:

1) Change servings per container to reflect what the provided scoop actually provides or increase the amount per container to reflect the current servings per container.
2) Break down all the numbers to the gram and then multiply by the number of grams provided in the reccomended number of scoops.

If they were a larger company people would be all over them about mislabeling which has cost companies millions in fines and litigaion.

I agree that a mom & pop shop provides something larger companies don't but in the end they are still held to the same rules when reporting what is in their product and how to correctly use the product.

 Two points there:

#1 - before WLS would YOU have read and been able to digest that information? Further, how many people out of 100 would have even noticed the serving size thing? I agree they should fix it but industry standard is not on our side on this one. Most companies stats are fallacious which is why I am slowly gravitating toward a majority whole foods diet (eliminating foods that are processed in any way).

#2 - their labeling practices are well within the law. Consider the law allows you to be up to 30% off in your caloric estimates, so this is a small thing to the feds. But there is nothing unlawful about Click's labeling. Because they put "about 14 servings" they are with the purview of the law.

the law bugs me a lot.  Makes me feel like tracking calories is a waste of time.  But I agree, it's why I'm making the move towards more whole foods and worrying less about calories.

I'm right there with you. Mother Nature knows what our bodies need better than big companies!

I've switched to 100% of my produce from the farmer's market. My next goal is to start doing everything from scratch within the next two years.

I love my Frankenfood but that report on how much they are allowed to be off on calories turned me completely off.

I agree that they probably cannot have scoops made to their size, BUT they can post nutritional information for the size scoop that they do include in the canister.

Yeah, I can cop to that. They could just say how many grams an actual scoop is. Someone said that before but I don't think i got what they were saying at the time.

But you're right

No wonder I could not tolerate 2 scoops in the morning. Sugars, even natural make me dump.

That is totally ridiculous.   Wouldn't this fall under truth-in-labeling laws?   If they say a serving is 2 scoops (NOT 32 gms) then they are mislabeling.   If they say a serving is 32 grams (approx 2 scoops) -- then its just really just misleading labeling.

it is a nice trick to make you use more and buy more... more often.
I still have some unused Click (1 year) . I dumped a couple of times on that... so now just looking at that makes me a bit dizzy.  I use that when I make protein ice cream...

 Totally unrelated but...

I notice the same thing with peanut butter. It says 14 servings. A jar, when I eat a serving of the stuff everyday, lasts me about a week. And yes, I do measure.
