Today I FINALLY get to just go to my office. That's it. No all day meeting, no staff happy hour. I just get to do my damn work!!! That will be nice. After work I'm going to go to the gym and then come home and hang out with my always lovely daughters.

Eats:

I'm trying to go fairly high protein today since earlier this week was something of a nightmare.

1. Vanilla protein smoothie
2. Some Sausage, Quinoa and Roasted Veggie soup
3. Two hardboiled eggs
4. A bag of Kay's Naturals protein chips on the way home (I find that I often eat an un-needed snack at this point in my day so this is me TRYING to make it a protein forward one)
5. Not sure what's for dinner but something with grilled chicken
6. An NSA fudgesicle for dessert

B -  Strawberry Yogurt Zone Bar
S - Banana
L - 5 or 6 oz of Taco Casserole, few tortila chips and a Pepperjack CheeseStick
S - medium packet of trail Mix
D - Salsa Chicken with Carrots & Peas

Sometimes if im having a hungry day, ill sneak another Zone ar in there.. lol... im fat

 Since I'm doing the pre-op liquid diet, I'll be having 2 Special K chocolate protein shakes(breakfast & lunch). Then after I'm done with the doctor and hospital I'll make a strawberry/banana shake at home with vanilla protein powder, fat free milk, and my blender! Another blended shake for supper, and topped off with some beef broth for something savory!

OMG the thought of that much food makes me sick, I am 5 weeks post-op and I am now supposed to "introduce" normal food back into my life, how????? I have no appetite & trying to eat something is like "why bother" cause 2 bites I'm full, 4 bites I have to dump, does the pain ever go away in your pouch? Am I ever gonna be able to eat more?? Any suggestions on food selection for me at this point??

Thursday means it's almost Friday! Went shopping last night at this crazy store here in KC called 1/2 of 1/2 it's like a where house full of department store merch that is closed out and they have everything from clothes to household stuff and I did awesome there last night! I got a new pair of leather coach heels, 4 sweaters from Talbot's, a King size Biltmore Corduroy comforter set, 605 thread count Egyptian cotton sheet set, and a pair of spanx all that for 160 bucks! Great deals, but the place is a mess and you have to dig through so much stuff that is really damaged or otherwise un use-able to find the good stuff.

Anyway today!

B: Scrambled egg w slice pepper jack cheese, 1/2 cup cottage cheese
S: 1T Peanut butter
L: Salad with grilled Chicken, tomato and Italian dressing
S: Hummus and veggies
D: Grilled Chicken with Cauliflower mashed "potatoes"
S: Ricotta Cheese w/ whole fruit preserves and 1 pkt splenda

Ran around today with hubby gathering up stuff for my little brownie to have for her camping trip. She is having a blast this year with the girl scouts!

 Today is planned protein forward, so we will see.  I am developing either a migraine or a head cold, either sucks

So far today the plan is
Protein Shake (premier protein grab and go)
Turkey and a bit of gravy for moisture
Cottage cheese, saskatoons
Dinner - Deciding if I am going to eat out or eat at home just do coffee tonight with the pals

Exercise.  Going to try a noon yoga class, then gym/elliptical for an hour tonight.  walking on coffee breaks.

Lovely day here in the northeast. Cool breezy but the sun in shining!

S: FF hot chocolate/popcorn

Going for a run afterwork today. I'll be doing some work on my speed base, because I have a trail Color Run coming up in a couple of weeks so it all goes to that!
