Checking vitamins for the first time 5 years out

Actually it's the Linus Pauling Institute that says our D should be at least 80.  I think the ASMBS says something like 40 is OK, but research actually shows that's much too low.

Oops, my mistake.  You are correct.  I recently read through the entire ASMBS article on nutritional guidelines (in several sittings, LOL... It is VERY dry reading!) so that was in my mind.  When my D was coming up so slowly (from an initial value of 9!) even when it got to 50-something, my surgeon said it should still be much higher (and she tended to go with the "normal" lab ranges for most things.  She wanted our Vit D and B12 much higher than the reference ranges.

i do have this list, i think Kelly posted it one time, i am looking for what the proper levels should be for us, like threy say i am "slightly low" at 22 for D, but htat is actually really low for us, so how do i get a list that i can have that tells me and PCP what the "norm" is for us????? thanks for  re posting the list,,,, i dont even know if such a list exists but would love to get my hands on it!!!
