Lean Pocket

I am almost 10.5 months out and had a lean pocket for lunch (I know, not the best choice but it was in the freezer at work and I was hungry).

I ate the whole thing.

Is that an awful lot to put down? Like can I consume too much? I haven't played with eating things like that really since surgery so it seemed kind of wild that I could fini**** Thoughts?

I think it has alot more carbs, like flour, that goes down more easily than dense protein does.  I don't know for sure

246 in Dec 2008 before banded 1/28/09 at 215 lbs, band crapped 9/09 at 170 lbs and struggled with it and regained to 203 revised to bypass on 8/1/11 and am very happy.

You know, that makes a lot of sense. It got me full but seemed so odd that I could eat the whole thing.

I won't be eating them again. I don't think my tummy likes it much. Haven't been eating frozen type foods for a very long time and my body doesn't like it. lol

Oh those lovely carbs. You can eat plenty of them because they start to digest the minute you put them in your mouth.
I can eat a sleeve of crackers and feel nothing. 4 oz of chicken and I'm full for hours.

Yeah that makes total sense because when I eat a dense protein I am stuffed quick and for a really long time. Stupid carbs. Got me thinking I broke myself hahaha.

Not a dense protein in sight. I vagely remember junk food like that, and I remember the chicken and stuff they put in them is mushy. Nothing like what you'd get off your own grill. I'm sure I could eat a whole hot pocket too. It's mostly bread and sauce when you think about it.

Of course you can eat too much. You didn't really feel full so I doubt you were stretching your pouch, but those slider foods, you can eat as much as a non-surgeried person.
