What are you doing/eating today? Thursday edition
It's been a whirlwind week. I cooked big batches of zucchini-noodle lasagna, white chicken chili, and whole wheat veggie pizzas to freeze so my dad-in-law has some healthy meals to eat at home while he's taking care of mom-in-law. Now I'm just making an extra portion at dinner and freezing it TV dinner style for him. It's working out pretty well so far.
Today I'm at the office and will head over to my in-laws' this afternoon to bring the dog over for a visit. He's staying with them while Joe and I travel to WARRIOR DASH this weekend! I am so excited for this race; I signed up back in February. Joe promised to take lots of pictures for me and I will definitely share them with all of you.
Food today:
Breakfast - Coffee
Lunch - Grilled chicken or roast turkey and raw vegetables.
Snack - Kashi protein and fiber bar.
Dinner - Not sure. I might get a really nice loaf of bread and have a frittata and wheat toast.
Snack - Another kashi protein and fiber bar. (Love the almond or the caramel. The pretzel one is good too, but my husband always steals those ones.)
Have a happy Thursday all!

Hey everyone! I have been sick and busy - not a good combo. But I'm feeling better today.
Eats are interesting. I'm simultaneously testing out a new shake recipe for the blog and trying to photo another one that's supposed to go up today so it's gonna be a fairly high protein day for me!
1. Red Velvet protein shake (I'm testing this out to include in the Bariatric Foodie Holiday Survival Kit - my goal is to achieve red and today I did! Now to figure out how to mass produce that?)
2. TVP tuna POSSIBLY on a sandwich thin (not a big appetite day but just in case)
3. Pumpkin Chai protein shake that I am posting tonight on BF
4. I think after all that I will be done!!!
RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!
Sounds like you have a lot of really tasty, creative food coming up on the blog.

I'm at my office too, 9-5 at my desk is so much fun every day! I do love my job though. I will take my dog for a nice long walk when I get home and maybe use the elliptical too.
