I needed a new pair of dark jeans so I ventured into Old Navy because I knew they had a number of different styles (and you all know how hard it can be to find a new style of jeans that are flattering).  I tried on several pairs... I grabbed all 10s to take to the dressing room (I wear 10s or 12s depending on the cut and manufacturer).  The first pair of 10s were too tight in the waist and thighs for my comfort (I don't like tight jeans), so I was a bit discouraged (since I am already very stressed).  The next pair fit, but weren't very flattering.  The next pair looked pretty good, but I thought I had accidentally grabbed 12s because they were a bit looser than I expected. Nope, a size 10.  I figured they were just mismarked, but I went back out and got a size 8 anyway.  O.M.G., they fit!!!!!!!  They were a little more snug that I would like, but they fit!  I actually own a piece of clothing in a single digit size!!!!!!!!

I know this isn't a big deal for those of you who are a size 4, but I have really struggled with accepting that I don't have a single-digit size body, even after losing 185 pounds.  I have a thick waist and muscular thighs.  Always have, always will have.  I have always said that I just wanted ONE piece of clothing in a single digit size (and it is NEVER going to be in a top or dress because of my DDD-cup chest)... and now I have one.

I am in complete shock.  Like I said, they are more snug than I would normally buy, but I can deal with it just knowing that they are a size 8!  I really needed a "pick me up" so this was extra exciting.

LOL.  A size 4 woman would look pretty damn top heavy with my boobs!!  God knows, they aren't going anywhere.
