What did you take to Hospital/what did you really use??

I am getting everything set up to pack my overnight bag for the hospital. I was told to plan 2 nights. But my biggest question is what to bring??? Stuff that I will really need.

I know: Robe, Chapstick or lip balm, crystal light, hard candys by crystal light, non slip socks(not a fan of slippers) comfortable clothing. Basic shower things. Thats is all i can really think of. So any help if I am missing something that others found they used alot.

I brought very little...chapstick, slippers, comfy clothes, makeup and bathroom needs, my cell phone and ipad loaded with some tv episodes to watch. I used the ipad and chaptstick. Otherwise I didnt' need much else. I waited until I got home to shower, I never even changed my makeup.

Ya sounds like me, I know i will be using chapstick, down fall is i have a little make up bag full of just chapsticks. I think i will take my ipod, and maybe my kindle.

I used my pillow and pj bottoms.. VERY VERY Loose pj bottoms.   OH I also used a sweater wrap, just something to put over my shoulders.

Hell, i just slept for 3 days straight, seeingly.. lol.. you might bring your ipad, and use it for 10 mins.. just try to walk around and burp and fart.. that should consume plenty of your time.. lol

 I agree completly, I watched every very little in the way of tv or computer. Just didn't feel like it at all.

 I didn't bring much with me because the hospital provided most things. Don't bother bringing any expensive devices--you don't want to chance them going missing. I had my husband bring me my iPhone the next day when I was a bit more coherent. 

 Yeah youre packing way too much. Lol. I took everything with me. I used the clothes to go home. My own pillow. A blanket. Toothbrush and paste. My phone and it's charger. I wasn't able to shower yet, didn't give a damn about my hair or makeup. All my stuff I took stayed in the closet in my room till I went home.
