If you love Fage you won't love Dannon Greek Light & Fit

So I have been trying so hard ALL WEEK to love the new Dannon Greek Light & Fit. I don't love it. I don't even like it, really. Tastes way too artificial and is in no way the creamy yummy I have come to love in flavored fage. So I guess for the little extra money it costs and 40 extra calories, I will stick with what I like. At least I tried!

Ditto. I've been mixing SF creamcheese pudding with the 35 oz container of Fage greek yogurt. It tastes pretty good, compared to Fage yogurt by itself. Wife wanted to try the new Dannon Greek Light & Fit, but she said the Fage/SF blend tasted much better.  For the Fage/creamcheese blend I eat, I add more whey isolate protein powder, and normally add some SF Torani syrup for wider selection--caramel, cherry, black cherry, orange, etc. DAVE

I don't like the blueberry much, I agree its pretty artificial tasting. I like the strawberry thought.

I agree that it's not as good as other yogurts but for what it is, it isn't that bad. I like the vanilla altho the cherry didn't completely suck. I've gotten used to it and I don't care enough about the quality of my yogurt to go back to the extra calories and carbs. If quality is important then yeah, it's probably not going to do it for you.

Yeah, the only non-Greek company Greek yogurt I've found I like is the generic kind I get at my local Giant grocery store. Otherwise if the company name ain't Greek, I don't buy it!

Word!  I feel the same.  I heart Fage and the Dannon is so fake it's gross.  I do love the stats, though, so I'll probably buy it every now & then.

All the yogurt companies are trying to jump on the Greek yogurt bandwagon, but they are in no way making actual greek yogurt.

It is sooooo gross! I couldn't agree more. Since surgery, I am very sensitive about artificial tasting sweeteners. This is really bad. So glad I only bought 3 containers. I'll stick to the Ciobani (or however you spell it). The taste reminds me of the Vitamin Water Zero. Another absolute yuck for me. I need to start keeping a tally of how much money I waste on food and drink post surgery.

Noose yogurt from Colorado...available at super Target stores and my Kroger, maybe other places too.  There may be better nutritional numbers with other brands but this is so good that I can add protein.  I mix it with low fat cream cheese and a drop or two vanilla for fruit topping.  It isn't necessary to add sugar or sweetener but you have to be the judge of that.
