What are some of your pet peeves? Doesn't have to be WLS related.

RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!

People who "assume" things without knowing the facts...ex: When I came home from surgery I needed to shop for food. I had in the drainage tube so I couldnt walk standing up, I was all bent over. To make the trip faster I used one of the motorized carts they have. People all through the store had smart aleck remarks to make. I was suing someone, I was lazy or too fat to walk...etc.

WLS related my little brother (all 6'3" 290 lbs. of him) likes to smack his food and look at me and go "mmmmmmmm" while he eats my favorite foods that I'm staying away from now (I won't use the phrase "can't eat!"). I usually go up and jiggle his belly and go "mmmmmmmm" right back at him. But, it still gets in my head and makes it hard.

Other than WLS related there are too many to name. People that think it's ok to make a mess and leave it in a shared space are right up there on my list lately.

I started serving my brother (he is disabled, but not THAT disabled) his meals on his already dirty dishes. I told him if he wanted clean ones, there is a sink in the kitchen.

I also started putting all his dirty laundry on his bed every day. If he put it on the floor, I'd go and put it back on his bed. Finally he got so sick of moving it he brought it to the laundry room. Who would've thought?

So many...but in the interests of not being a ring tailed ***** just these:

Those who speed thru school zones while children, especially little ones, are walking around.

And

Folks who don't wash their hands after using the bathroom.

I fight badgers with spoons.

People who are yakking on their cell phones at the checkout lines at the grocery store. They almost always then enter the wrong pin numbers or write a check wrong.
