One (or two) last questions!

Had my pre-op nutrition meeting with the NUT. She was telling me what to expect post-op in terms of eating, and one of the things she said is that feelings of fullness, or having something stuck, are felt higher, like in the chest. Just checking on whether or not this is accurate.

I do not get a full feeling never have, that is why I have to measure or weigh everything. If I get too much at any one time, I am rushing to the bathroom to throw up. I do not like that so I know I can have 2.5oz of solid food and 4oz of softer food so that is what I do for now. I understand later I may be able to have more, but for now this method works for me. If you don’t get the full feeling and some of us don’t, you will have to do something like I do, or you will spend a lot of time barfing, unless I miss my guess.

I know that feeling, mine is right below my breasts, in the middle... I would walk around my kitchen with my arms held straight up in the air above my head... That made that stuck feeling feel better for me. Good luck! And congrats!
