Ten months post op with pics
I just followed my plan. My plan calls for 3 meals a day, no snaking. Focus on protien. So for example, today I had chicken with some cheese for breakfast, some beef noggets for lunch and for dinner I'm gonna have some chili. All two ounce meals. I know I'm not supposed to snack, but honestly I eat popcorn, nuts or I'll have some peanutbutter. So I usually have 4 meals, not three. And I always take my vitamins and drink water. I excersice nearly daily. I walk a lot, I do pullups (well I try lol!) I dance... Anything to get me moving. I keep it simple. If I don't feel like excersizing, I don't. But I still keep active, cause I work with kids, who run a lot!
I think I cried about two weeks out. I mean, really cried! I didn't really ever feel depressed though. Mentally, I think what really is hard is seeing a new person emerge. Lots of times id walk by a mirror and not recognize myself. I never thought of myself as fat, so when I started to lose the weight I couldn't believe how big I had once been. Why no one ever said anything is beyond me. I wish they had. Maybe I would've done something before I got as big as I did.
